Worship Services

Currently, we are holding Hybrid Worship services on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Masks are no longer required to worship in the sanctuary. If you need to use a face mask and social distance due to health concerns, by all means do that. You may also choose to remain in your car and tune your car radio to 88.7 FM for the service. Come join us as we hear the word of God.

During services, the following are available:

• Comfort room - The Parlor is a comfortable room located behind the Sanctuary with a rocking chair and other items for the care of infants and toddlers. The service is broadcast into this room.
• Hearing Enhancement Devices are available upon request. Please ask one of the ushers if you would be more comfortable using a hearing device.
• Large Print Bulletins including the hymns for the day are available from the ushers for anyone who would like one.
• Communion is served on the first Sunday of every other month February through December and for special church holidays. All are welcome to share the Lord's Supper.
• Flowers may be given in memory or honor of loved ones to adorn the Sanctuary on most Sundays. Please contact the church office and speak with the Secretary.

In worship the people of God acknowledge God present in the world and in their lives.
As they respond to God’s claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, believers are transformed and renewed. In worship the faithful offer themselves to God and are equipped for God’s service in the world.

In response to God’s abundant love in Jesus Christ, we come together in  worship to offer ourselves to God and to grow into the people God has  created us to be.  Our worship services are on Sundays at 10:00 and all  are welcome.(Summer Schedule for June, July, August: Worship at 10:00)
 

Sunday School starts immediately after the 10:00 a.m. worship service from September through May.

Children and youth meet upstairs, in the education wing, to open with song and announcements before breaking off into age-appropriate classes. The Sunday School curriculum is Lectionary based to correspond with the scriptures we read in worship.

Adult Sunday School classes are offered based upon what study is currently underway. Materials for adult classes are provided and available for take-home reading and study the week before. Check with the church office at (814) 226-8145 for current information.

Archived sermons are available in audio and/or video format, as part of that date's worship service, depending upon the original recording medium.
